Tony & John's birthday was Friday night, but they don't usually get home until after 7 pm so we planned to have their birthday party after the block party.
Here they are organizing their birthday cards so that they open the same ones at the same time. They said that it ruins the surprise if they don't do it that way.

John & Tony said that it didn't really feel like their birthday. I think 16 is one of the ages that you anticipate for so long...after it happens it is kind of a let down. Maybe it will sink in when they have their first date. ;)
