Twilight!

Last night was also the opening for Twilight! I have to admit I have not read the book but when my friends invited me to go to the midnight show...how could I resist.
Christy & CathyAmy, Michelle & me!
I liked the movie & I look
forward to reading the book!

Celebrate!!!

Every year I joke that I like to celebrate my birthday for a whole week. This year I got a slow start but Thurs. Chris called and said that he knew someone that had tickets to Barry Manilow and asked if I wanted them. Of course I did...I have wanted to take my mom to Barry since he came to town. So, yesterday was my opportunity to take her. We had a great time!

Mom & I before leaving for Barry Manilow!
What a great way to start off my birthday festivities!

UNLV vs UNM

Here we are at the game. I have no idea what Chris is doing with his fingers over his eye.Sara came to visit us during half time, during that time a couple of kids asked for her autograph. After she left the little girl "Evelyn" kept calling out to Sara, and singing little songs to her. It was very cute.

We won! I think the score was 27-20! Go Rebels! Basketball starts next week.

UNLV vs TCU

UNLV played TCU this week & UNLV got stomped! The wind did not help the situation...it did made the ball do some crazy things.
This is cheese wiz! The cheerleaders wore pink bows & performed at half time wearing pink shirts to promote awareness for breast cancer. ( Sara is on the right facing the camera)

Sara is in the back row last one on the right.

Sara after the half time performance. (Doesn't she have a great smile?)

Chris & I trying to keep warm, a storm started to blow in about the second quarter.
