Time Out for Women

Friday night and Saturday , I went to Time Out for Women, sponcored by Deseret Book. I went with some of my favorite girls from my ward. (Even though my ward got torn apart just a few short hours later:( ) We had a great time, it was very uplifting. One of my favorite authors spoke (Chris Stewart). Some of the other speakers were: Virginia Hinckley Pearce, Elia Gougouris, S. Michael Wilcox, and Amanda Dickson. Hilary Weeks performed both days & Jason Deere performed Friday night. I am really glad that I went. I also ran it to a friend I hadn't seen in years...that was a wonderful surprise!

Surprise visitors

Don, Holly, Aaron and Cooper came to visit from Idaho! They stayed with Grandpa Mike & came to see us on Sunday.

More parties!

More parties! This one was on Labor Day with the Bishop side of the family. I just noticed that the date stamp is wrong on the picture.

I have a slow trigger finger I guess. Jumpers included: John, Tony, Chris, Rachel & Taylor
They jumped at the same time...BIG SPLASH!
Note: John told me he hates parties. I asked him why and he said because he has to hide in his room. LOL Who doesn't like parties? This party was fueled by Great Grandma Bishop's chocolate chip cookies! Those things are the BOMB!

UNLV vs. Utah state

UNLV vs. Utah State we had to be at this game. This was Sara's first game to cheer for UNLV (we cheer for Sara, she cheers for UNLV), and Alan (Chris' cousin) was playing for Utah State!
