Cheer Banquet
Yesterday night was a bitter-sweet! We attended a cheer banquet for Chelsey. It is so hard to believe that she will graduate in just a few weeks and this chapter of her life will close. Cheer has been a great experience for Chelsey. In many ways it has helped boost her self confidence and pushed her to be grow & stretch herself. The coaches put together a slide show of pics and videos from through out the year, and they spotlighted the seniors. There were pictures of the senior cheerleaders from infants to the present. I started to cry as I saw the pictures of her flash on the screen; how fast she has grown up. My heart was bursting with pride. She is an amazing young lady with a heart of gold. She will soon open a new chapter of her life & I am sure she will be just as successful. Her father and I wish her happiness and love forever! Good Luck sweet Chelsey Lynn!!!!

More Easter fun!
The kids usually are up at the crack of dawn to see their Easter baskets and find eggs, but this year we finally woke them up at 8:30. That is how I know they are really teenagers, because they like to sleep.
On our way to church Easter afternoon.

The kids were making fun of me for wanting a picture.

Tony & John's birthday was Friday night, but they don't usually get home until after 7 pm so we planned to have their birthday party after the block party.
Here they are organizing their birthday cards so that they open the same ones at the same time. They said that it ruins the surprise if they don't do it that way.

Tony makes a wish & blows out the candles.

Tony's cake...cookie monster, John's cake...german chocolate!

Neighborhood Block Party
The block party was a success! The weather was beautiful, the food was good & most importantly the kids had fun!
Rachel directs the kids on where to look for eggs, each age group had an area to search in.
Block Party Planning
Rachel is a go-getter, she loves planning parties and she was up to her usual self...planning and exicuting a Easter block party for our neighborhood. She enlisted some help from Stephanie Waite, myself, and several other neighbors but she really did most of it on her own.
Easter eggs
Friday night we dyed easter eggs! Chris said that the kids are too big for that but they still wanted to, so I made it happen!

All because two people fell in love...
No wonder my dad fell madly in love with this girl! She is beautiful & look at that great smile!
This picture was taken on my blessing day. I am 4 months old.
Look how handsome my dad is. This is one of the rare times that he doesn't have a moustache. For as long as I can remember he has always had a moustache.
Look at those chubby cheeks!
All because 2 people fell in love...
Mom & Dad have 4 children (me, Marty, Dawn & Clint), 3 son-in-laws & 1 daughter-in-law, and they have 21 grandchildren. Emily a grand-daughter is getting married in June. Their posterity continues to grow!
